Peter G. Hagialas, ASA

Peter G. Hagialas, Founder and Managing Director, directs PLC’s overall growth strategy, manages ongoing client projects, and supports the development of PLC’s team. The more than 2,000 properties he has valued throughout his career have provided extensive experience in tangible personal property valuation for businesses of all sizes across a variety of industries. Considered an expert in his field, Pete has provided analysis in support of property tax and other litigation cases in local, state, and federal court.

Pete’s priorities are PLC’s clients, and the PLC team that provides signature concierge service to those clients. No matter his responsibilities, he is never too busy to be hands on with clients or to collaborate with a colleague. For Pete, a tenacious work ethic isn’t something to be learned. It’s something you’re born with and nourish throughout your life. That drive to provide the personalized services to clients is the seed from which PLC was born, and Pete credits not only his Big Four Accounting Firm experience, but all his life experiences that instilled that appreciation for his clients and his staff.

Prior to the founding of PLC, Pete held the position of Director with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP’s Corporate Value Consulting and later Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting, and was responsible for the development of their Machinery & Equipment, and National Cost Segregation Services practices. In addition, Pete led the southeast machinery and equipment valuation and cost segregation practices from the Washington, DC and Philadelphia offices of Arthur Andersen, LLP.

Pete is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) as designated by the American Society of Appraisers. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.

Pete is originally from New York but now calls West Chester, PA home. He and his wife, Andrea, have two grown children, Nikolas and Alexia. In his spare time, Pete can be found off-shore fishing in New Jersey.
